And you are very welcome for the “likes”. I realize that “likes” are not (generally) considered as heavy as a comment, but some times a simple smile is better than an expansive “HELLO”. In any case, each “like” is genuine and means that particular post touched me in some way.

One of my all time Maya favs. I am a fan. My favorite of her’s is I know why the caged bird sings. Isn’t that so true about this poem we find out a lot about ourselves as we grow older and I always hope wiser. Ha! I used to think when I turned 40 that wisdom was going to over take me but nope I had to live each lesson out and hopefully not repeat the same mistakes! I love this blog~I had a few minutes sitting here at my desk and thought I needed to read someone else’s shares. 😀

I love the way you formatted it like a poem so that everything doesn’t just run altogether like it would in a paragraph…not that it would detract anything from the meaning of her words, but the pauses in between make for nice poetic pauses.
