As of this morning, my weight loss is 21lbs for this fast (down from 373lbs on 29 Aug.). I am averaging 1.5lbs of loss per day. The loss has been fairly consistent at about a pound per day since the initial stomach content “big” drop. This is just about what I would expect from my prior fasting experiences. On my strict veggie broth fasts, I lost 2lbs per day, but those were both in my mid-20’s and I’m now 64 years old, so some variation (decrease due to lower metabolism) is to be expected. Last year’s fasting loss was about 61lbs in 41 days. That’s about 1.7lbs of loss per day. That fast was more juice fast than blend fast. This fast is exclusively blend. That may be the reason for the decreased rate, but it’s too hard to say for sure due to the high number of uncontrolled (and probably uncontrollable) variables.
