Today (Day 15 of 21) I did all sets together again for the eighth day (not in a row). I did the normal 5 sets of 50 pull-downs (250 total) with 40lbs; and, 5 sets of 25 side pull-downs (both sides) with 40lbs. I didn’t finish each set with a hang as I didn’t feel right in my shoulders. I still need to try to be more consistent (every day), but I’m also trying to listen to my body and rest when it says I need it. Today was done with short (to no) breaks between rotations, except that I had to make some adjustments to the chain to reduce swinging. I am using old socks (still) to protect the back of my hands during the side pull-downs. As usual, I had the FB in my left sock instead of on my wrist. |

Today (Day 14 of 19) I did all sets together again for the seventh day (not in a row, as I missed four rainy days). I did the normal 5 sets of 50 pull-downs (250 total) with 40lbs; and, 5 sets of 25 side pull-downs (both sides) with 40lbs. I finished with five sets of simple hangs. All were partial hangs (feet on ground / knees bent). I need to try to be more consistent (every day), but I’m also trying to listen to my body and rest when it says I need it. As always, it’s a balancing act… Today was done with short breaks between rotations, except that I had to make some adjustments to the chain to reduce swinging. I am using old socks (again) to protect the back of my hands during the side pull-downs. They worked and kept my hands warm(ish) in the cold air. Again, today I needed longer breaks between the sets – hence the longer time to complete the workout. Also, I had the FB in my left sock instead of on my wrist (again). |
