Tomorrow will be the first Christmas in over a decade in which we didn’t host dinner for the (extended) family. Our oldest daughter recently moved into a more spacious apartment, and she will be hosting!! Yeah!! Since I will be driving there and back, I won’t be drinking, but I also won’t be getting up at 6am to get the turkey in the oven. (LoL) Life is full of trade-offs…
Anyway, we are looking forward to a nice, relaxing meal with lots of family and natter (and maybe a little football on the telly).
Merry Christmas to all!! Be safe! And, if you are so inclined, say a prayer of thanks for those in harm’s way (and their families) who keep us safe.

You will find, as you look back upon your life, that the moments that stand out, the moments when you have really lived, are the moments when you have done things in the spirit of love.

The foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called, but God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise: and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are.

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.
