Today’s weather has been “weird”.  The forecast was for high winds advisory.  And, is it ever blowing!!!  15 to 35mph with gusts to 60mph…  It is roaring like a wind tunnel and practically knocked my cell phone from my hands as I was taking this picture!

Crackin’ The Flags

And, yes, I know the expression: “Crackin’ the flags” refers to it being so hot the street flagstones are cracking and not to proper flags, but that’s the sound you hear standing anywhere near the flag today.  (The flag is in the school entrance way directly across the street from our house.)
