What Do You See?
January 16, 2022 by kmabarrett
Great comment. How many people realize she’s talking about seeing a person’s weakness?
Hi GP,
LoL! When I first read the quote my thought was: “Are they only looking for a person’s weakness or is it the only thing they see.” I think it’s a bit of both… We look specifically, to tear them down a peg. We only see what we want to see. The second is a bit like that image of a beautiful lady and an old hag. Some folks can only see one or the other. Some have to look long and hard to see the alternative. Some can never see the first once they’ve “switched” their brain and can see the second (they can’t go back).
Anyway, I’m glad you enjoyed the post.

GP,
Just out of curiosity, if not for the movie “Troy” how many people under 30 years of age would even know who Achilles is / was? Not many, I’d wager.
Kevin
True statement.
