[A “Fractal” is a curve or geometric figure, each part of which has the same statistical character as the whole.  A “Mandelbrot Set” is description of a type of fractal.  Somehow, this quote strikes me as a viewing of a personal relationship as a Mandelbrot set which appears to repeat itself over and over again, no matter the scale at which it is viewed.  Like the love I feel waking up each morning and saying “Good Morning” to my wife.    —    kmab]
