Or you could do what Joseph Smith (the founder of Mormonism) did and bury your face into an upturned hat.
Hi Cubby,
Ah, you’ve found one of my “dark spots”. I know next to nothing about Mormonism – despite the fact the city I live in has a large Mormon community (and three big Mormon churches). I met a few (parents) while my kids were in high school. They seemed nice, if conservative. We attended two parties at their homes. Our kids were in HS Band together. They were friendly and welcoming, but of course there was no alcohol. I’ve always thought I’d learn about their faith someday, but I’ve not made the time, yet. Is your “story” factual or should I take it as humor? I have the vaguest recollection of something about Brigham Young and finding a bible under a rock… So Smith is the founder?
🙂
Oh, please do look up Joseph Smith and how mormonism was created. Believe me, you’ll find it very interesting.
I have also met some Mormons. They were very friendly and pleasant. I have absolutely nothing against them whatsoever.
This is an interesting quote Kevin. Happy Monday (◡‿◡✿)
Hi MM,
I’m glad you liked the quote! Happy Monday / Tuesday (back at you). 🙂
