I made up my mind long ago to follow one cardinal rule in all my writing — to be clear. I have given up all thought of writing poetically or symbolically or experimentally, or in any of the other modes that might (if I were good enough) get me a Pulitzer prize. I would write merely clearly and in this way establish a warm relationship between myself and my readers, and the professional critics — Well, they can do whatever they wish. | |

Clear And Warm To Me

Thanks Kevin, a man after my own heart.
Hi C.J.,
Mine too. It’s hard to believe he’s gone. Over 500 books written! We may never see his like again. I’ve been reading his books since he was under 100 (which was titled “Opus 100”). It sounds almost trite, but I feel like a star in the night time firmament has simply twinkled out.
Kevin
Thanks very much Kevin. Always enjoy dropping by to witness what you have to offer – you never cease amaze.
