If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the men to go to the forest to gather wood, saw it, and nail the planks together. Instead, teach them the desire for the sea. | |

Desire For The Sea

I cross-referenced in the World Dictionary and I found mogul: slope of a hill or ski-mound. So you are right about that definition of mogul.
I believe it is an English mispronunciation of a Scandinavian or Nordic word. Just as “Mogul” is a Persian mispronunciation of the word “Mongol” or “Moghul”.
from dictionary reference no mention to mogul meaning a hill or summit. That must be an archaic definition or you could be wrong about that.
Me, wrong? Surely you jest!
Hello,
Mongol can be pronounced or spelled in several variations.
Mogol, Mughul, Mogul, or Mongol are the spellings of the word.
So I am not incorrect in saying Mogul. Dictionary reference shows that mogul is a definition of a Mongol or Mongolian.
Look, we all can mispronounce words. But just because you are not familiar with the variation does not mean you can just criticize and say you are not pronouncing the word right.
