If you think you are beaten, you are.
If you think you dare not, you don’t
If you like to win but think you can’t,
It’s almost a cinch you won’t.
If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost.
For out in the world we find
Success begins with a fellow’s will.
It’s all in the state of mind.
If you think you are outclassed, you are.
You’ve got to think high to rise.
You’ve got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win the prize.
Life’s battles don’t always go
To the stronger or faster man.
But sooner or later, the man who wins
Is the man who thinks he can.

The poem is actually fairly well known and widely quoted or paraphrased, but I had not seen it in a while. As usual, if you have time to visit the site I found it at, drop a comment thanking them for the post. Just remember the little train, “I think I can. I think I can. I think I can.” — KMAB]

Thankyou so much..i love this poem it’s like the anchor holding me firmly to the ground yet asking me to try 😀
And thank you, again, for reminding me of it. It was bumping into an old friend. And keep up the good work on your own site, too. It (your site) is not so much an anchor as another line to shore…
😀
